It was a delight to explore the different spaces and meet fellow travelers from around the world.

If I were to make one small request for a better vacation experience as a senior, it would be for the children working there to be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evenings. A notice suggesting quiet hours after 10pm, like many other hostels do, would ensure a peaceful night's sleep for all guests.

Had a great stay at this centrally located hostel. The bed was super comfy and they provided lockers for our belongings. Loved the retro and interesting interior design, and the self-service breakfast with toast, cereals, and milk. The room had modern amenities, towels, and a comfy bed. The common areas were spacious, with games, TV, and a cute dining area with swings. Lots of character and greens throughout. Parking available and felt secure. 10/10 stars!

I had a fantastic time at the Brownstone Hostel & Space. The hostel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comforts. The rope-swing-seats dining table was a unique touch and the lobby and outdoor patio provided great social spaces. The showers and toilets were clean and separate stalls ensured privacy. The staff had a super attitude and the location was convenient for exploring New Town and its famous dim sum street. I highly recommend this hostel.

The hostel had a cool design and nice common areas. The place was super clean and had a great aesthetic, perfect for taking Instagram photos. The location was also a plus, with lots of eateries within walking distance.

The location was not very central, about a 20-30 minute walk from the city center. The DIY breakfast could be improved, as the fridge was practically empty and there were limited choices.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a designated area for quiet relaxation. While the communal spaces were wonderful for socializing, it would have been nice to have a separate area where I could enjoy some peace and quiet, especially as a senior traveler.

I chose this hostel for a business symposium in the business district. The facilities were modern and well-designed, and the staff were friendly and available for assistance. The location was convenient and within walking distance of the old town. a great experience.

The only downside was the lack of a dedicated workspace or business center. It would have been helpful to have a designated area for work-related tasks.

I had a great experience at Brownstone Hostel & Space in New Town. the shophouse structure was remarkably preserved and combined with modern amenities. the dining table with rope, swing seats was clever, stylish, and functional. They had several social areas like a lobby, a large bean, bag room with an outdoor patio, and a cozy dining area. the showers and toilets were of great quality, each in individual stalls along an open, air hallway. the staff had a super attitude and the location was within walking distance to the center and main streets. I would definitely choose Brownstone again when visiting. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 🌟.
